Wroc艂aw University of Science and Technology invites nominations for the Stanis艂aw Lem European Research Prize, an award recognizing young researchers for outstanding scientific and engineering achievements with the potential to positively impact the future of civilization.
馃敩 Who can apply?
Candidates must:
鈻笍 Have been born in 1986 or later.
鈻笍 Be affiliated with a university or research institution in an EU member state, a country associated with the Horizon Europe programme, or Switzerland.
鈻笍 Have a scientific or engineering achievement documented in 2023 or later.
The prize covers a broad range of scientific and engineering disciplines, with a particular focus on achievements that demonstrate a strong technological component, originality, an interdisciplinary approach, and potential for practical applications.
馃挕 If you work in data analysis, machine learning, signal processing, wearable technologies, ergonomics, or innovative engineering solutions, your achievements may align with the aims of the prize.
馃弳 The Award:
The winner will receive PLN 100,000 and an invitation to Wroc艂aw to deliver a lecture, meet with young researchers, and attend the official award ceremony.
馃摡 How to submit a nomination?
Applications must include:
鈻笍 A completed application form.
鈻笍 Up to 3 publications documenting the achievement.
鈻笍 2 or 3 letters of recommendation, with no more than one letter from a person affiliated with an institution in the same country as the candidate.
