Plenary talk delivered by our researcher at the 11th International Conference on Information Technology in Biomedicine (ITIB 2026)
We are pleased to announce that Prof. Michał Strzelecki from our Institute, together with Prof. Adam Piórkowski from AGH University of Krakow, delivered a plenary lecture at the ITIB 2026 conference, held on June 22-24, 2026, at the Silesian University of Technology.
Talk title:
🧠 “Radiomics in Medical Image Analysis: From Classical Machine Learning to Deep Learning”
The lecture focused on the latest developments in radiomics, ranging from classical machine learning approaches to advanced deep learning models that are increasingly supporting medical diagnostics and clinical decision-making.
The International Conference on Information Technology in Biomedicine, organized under the leadership of Prof. Ewa Piętka, is an interdisciplinary scientific event that bridges theoretical and applied research. Its main goal is to integrate researchers and engineers working at the intersection of modern information technologies and clinical medicine. It responds to the growing need for a platform for knowledge exchange between IT and healthcare, covering areas such as medical information systems, computer-aided diagnosis, telemedicine, and home care.
