Prof. Paweł Strumiłło, representing our university, signed a cooperation agreement between Lodz University of Technology and Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) 🤝
The ceremony took place on March 12, 2026, in Hong Kong and marks an important step towards the internationalization of our university’s activities.

The meeting was part of Prof. Paweł Strumiłło’s visit to Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU), where he delivered an invited lecture at the International Conference on Connected Intelligence (ICCI-2026) 🌐
📚 This is just the beginning, as both universities are currently working on:
an Erasmus agreement
a Student Exchange Agreement (SEA)
which will formalize student and staff mobility between the two institutions.
💡 The cooperation will also include:
joint research projects
organization of scientific events
development of initiatives in the field of intelligent technologies
During his visit to Hong Kong, Prof. Strumiłło also visited the HKMU Shenzhen Research Institute at Shenzhen Virtual University Park.
“The research potential and laboratory facilities of this unit are impressive. We have identified areas of cooperation that we could develop together,” emphasized Prof. Paweł Strumiłło.
