📌 On November 13, 2025, the Łódź Bridge to Taiwan Conference took place at the Andels Hotel in Łódź, dedicated to Polish-Taiwanese cooperation in the field of innovation and modern technologies.
🇵🇱🤝🇹🇼 The event was attended by representatives of Lodz University of Technology 👉 staff from the Institute of Electronics, the Department of Microelectronics and Computer Science, and the Department of Semiconductor and Optoelectronic Devices. At the exhibition booth, they showcased selected scientific and research achievements as well as design projects, while establishing contacts with conference participants.
Representing the Institute of Electronics were Prof. Paweł Strumiłło, Prof. Bogusław Więcek, and Dr. Robert Olbrycht.
💡 The conference brought together around 40 companies from Taiwan and nearly 200 from Poland, operating in sectors such as: ✅ ICT
✅ Semiconductors
✅ Green Energy
✅ Smart City
✅ Intelligent Manufacturing
Participants had the opportunity not only to learn about the latest trends in these industries but also to talk to potential partners and establish connections that could lead to real business projects.
💬 The program included discussions, thematic panels, workshops, and B2B meetings, fostering the exchange of experience and collaboration. The event was complemented by the 21st Polish-Taiwanese Business Council meeting, during which government representatives, academia, and key companies discussed directions for further joint initiatives 🤝.
