Staff and students of the Institute of Electronics at Lodz University of Technology are taking part in URSI GASS 2026 - one of the most important international scientific events dedicated to the broad field of radio engineering and radio science. 🎓✨
📅 From 15–22 August 2026, Kraków is hosting the XXXVI URSI General Assembly and Scientific Symposium (URSI GASS 2026). The conference covers a broad spectrum of radio science across URSI’s ten scientific commissions, bringing together fundamental research and practical applications. The programme features approximately 1 300 presentations, nearly 100 thematic sessions, as well as tutorials, workshops, and training sessions, including a school for early-career researchers and a student paper competition. 📚💡
Staff and students of the Institute of Electronics are taking part in the conference. Prof. Sławomir Hausman, Prof. Łukasz Januszkiewicz, Prof. Piotr Korbel, and Kornelia Bendzel are presenting the results of their research and participating in scientific sessions and discussions on the latest developments in radio systems and wireless technologies. 📶🛰️
The Institute of Electronics is also represented among the conference organisers. Prof. Sławomir Hausman serves as Vice-Chair of the URSI GASS 2026 Local Organising Committee. 🤝🏛️
