The topic of this project addresses the problem of assessing the accuracy and clinical usefulness (validation) of biomedical image processing methods. Specifically, the planned research work involves performing validation of methods for segmentation of blood vessels in three-dimensional (3W) magnetic resonance angiography images. The main tool that will be made as part of the project and will serve this purpose will be a computer simulator for magnetic resonance angiography.
