Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting students from Częstochowa together with their teachers and accompanying supervisors as part of the “Taste Studying in Łódź” project - a series of events that allows young people from the best secondary schools outside Łódź to experience the atmosphere of studying and working in our city 🎓✨
Within the engineering pathway of the “Taste Studying in Łódź” project, carried out in cooperation with the aviation industry, the following participants took part:
👩🎓👨🎓 20 students from Techniczne Zakłady Naukowe in Częstochowa (specialization: aircraft mechanics)
👩🎓👨🎓 10 students from STM - School of Creative Thinking (specializations: logistics technician and IT technician)
📅 The visit program included:
🔹 11.06 – classes and meetings at Lodz University of Technology
🔹 12.06 – study visits at the Military Aviation Works and Bartolini Air ✈️
During the meetings at our university, researchers from the Institute of Electronics - Piotr Korbel, PhD Eng. and Robert Olbrycht, DSc Eng. - together with a student from the MIPSA Scientific Club, Kamil Wilk, conducted workshops on thermography and the principles of radar operation 📡
Our instructors also enthusiastically answered all students’ questions - both those related to the workshop topics and to studying at Lodz University of Technology, student life, and opportunities for scientific development 🎓✨
❗ We hope that our young guests will return to us in the future as students 🎓✨ and will choose to continue their education and career path at Lodz University of Technology and in our city of Łódź.
