馃弳 Success of our PhD student at SPA 2026!

We are delighted to announce that M.Sc. Eng. Jakub Precht, a PhD student at our Institute, received the Best Paper Presentation Award in the Image Processing II session at the Signal Processing: Algorithms, Architectures, Arrangements, and Applications (SPA 2026) conference in Pozna艅. 馃帗馃憦

Mr Jakub, whose academic supervisor is Prof. Artur Klepaczko, presented the paper entitled "Impact of Radial Distortion on Homography-Based Camera Calibration", focusing on the impact of radial distortion on camera calibration using homography. 馃摲馃敩

The conference was also attended by Dr. Eng. Jaros艂aw Zwierzchowski, Jakub鈥檚 co-supervisor, who presented the paper entitled "Correlation Between Principal Point and Decentring Distortion in Self-Calibration Bundle Adjustment". 馃搻

M.Sc. Eng. Patrycja Czemerych also presented her research in a paper entitled "Binary Classification of Hip Osteoarthritis in Pelvic X-Ray Images Using Deep Learning and Grad-CAM Explainability", conducted under the academic supervision of Prof. Micha艂 Strzelecki. 馃┗馃
