We are proud to announce that D.Sc. Eng. Robert Olbrycht from our Institute has been named among the recipients of this year鈥檚 Prime Minister鈥檚 Award! He received this prestigious distinction in recognition of his outstanding scientific achievements in the field of thermal imaging technologies and infrared measurement methods.
馃弳 The award-winning achievements include the development of a broadband, high-sensitivity uncooled thermal imaging camera, an original method for analysing the impact of optical filters on thermal camera performance, and research into the use of uncooled microbolometer arrays to detect emissions from selected gases.
The particular value of this research lies in its potential for practical applications. The developed solutions can support the advancement of modern thermal imaging systems used in industry, technological process monitoring, environmental protection and safety systems.
