As part of a donation from TME (Transfer Multisort Elektronik), our Institute received TME-EDU-ROVER educational kits featuring tracked rover platforms. The rovers were developed through a collaboration between TME and researchers from our Institute. 馃馃挋
The TME-EDU-ROVER consists of two main components:
馃敼 A mobile tracked chassis based on the TP101 Smart Tank platform (ROB0153), equipped with two independently controlled DC motors. This enables forward and reverse movement, as well as turning.
馃敼 A dedicated electronic board integrating control, power supply and measurement circuits, signaling components, and communication and expansion interfaces.
TME-EDU-ROVER is a programmable, open educational and development platform that provides hands-on learning opportunities in electronics, programming, automation, and robotics. Thanks to its microcontroller, numerous sensors, and support for additional modules, users can write their own programs, conduct experiments, and develop technical projects. 鈿欙笍馃捇
The donated kits will be used in various areas of our teaching activities:
馃帗 teaching university students, including courses such as Microprocessor Systems and Microprocessor Systems and Embedded Systems,
馃敩 diploma projects,
馃 activities for young technology enthusiasts - graduates of the Lodz Children鈥檚 University.
These solutions make learning even more practical and engaging. By working with these educational kits, students and young explorers can develop their programming, design, and real-world technical problem-solving skills. 馃殌
We would like to express our sincere thanks to TME for the donation and for supporting the development of modern technical education! 馃馃挋
